Joslyn Takes Helm As AccessCNY Executive Director
Paul Joslyn has been named the new Executive Director of AccessCNY. Joslyn takes the reigns of the Central New York non-profit with the upcoming retirement of current Executive Director Prudence York.
Joslyn began his time with the agency on August 11. He and York will share leadership duties until her departure on August 31.
Prior to joining AccessCNY Joslyn worked for Unity House of Cayuga County. He served as Deputy Executive Director of Administration from 2009 to 2014 and Chief Operating Officer since April 2014. Like AccessCNY, Unity House offers services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health issues.
“We are delighted to introduce Paul Joslyn as the new Executive Director of AccessCNY,” said Ricky Ryder, President of the agency’s Board of Directors. “Prudence helped the agency grow to new heights and we are confident that Paul will build on these successes and achieve milestones of his own.”
Prior to joining Unity House Joslyn was employed in the financial services sector. Joslyn holds a Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Science degree for Teachers from Lemoyne College. His undergraduate work was completed at Susquehanna University.
“I am excited to join the AccessCNY family,” said Joslyn. “I have the utmost respect for the agency, its staff and leadership and look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together. The greatest achievements will always be those created by the people we serve. Their hard work will inspire and motivate me each day.”
Joslyn’s community activities include serving on the board of L’Arche of Syracuse. He resides in Syracuse with his family.
