The Syracuse WorkForce Run, scheduled for Tuesday, June 20 at Onondaga Lake Park, is proud to announce its partnership with AccessCNY, a Syracuse-based agency serving individuals with disabilities or a mental health diagnosis.
The Syracuse WorkForce Run will donate to AccessCNY in celebration of all entrants to the 5K team run/walk that hosted 1,998 entrants from 88 companies in 2022.
In addition to the donation, all participants will have the opportunity to make private donations to AccessCNY during the registration process for the event. Entry to the Syracuse WorkForce Run is $39 per person, and registration is now available for corporate team, family and individual participation. The total number of entrants is anticipated to significantly increase this June, creating a strong opportunity to benefit AccessCNY.
“AccessCNY empowers over 2,400 people a year, each with their own unique story,” said Matt Seubert, Associate Executive Director, Development, Communications & Advocacy, AccessCNY. “Whether an individual has an intellectual disability, physical disability or mental health diagnosis, AccessCNY’s services help them reach their full potential. AccessCNY advocates so everyone has a voice, everyone is heard, and all are connected.”
The Syracuse WorkForce Run will begin at 6:45 p.m. from the Onondaga Lake Parkway starting line and then features a post-race party within the adjoining park. Hospitality for companies includes tent suite and picnic area options and exclusive locations to meet pre-race and celebrate following. The event is a tradition in Central New York dating back to 1982.
