Unique Peerspectives – Seniors

Unique Peerspectives (UP) offers a safe, supportive and non-judgmental place for people to seek mental health support.

The idea at the heart of Unique Peerspectives is “people helping people”. The staff are trained peers who have undergone their own mental health journey and learned how to use their experiences to help others. Further, support and discussion groups are a core part of UP’s programming; allowing people to share their experiences and find community with others who understand.

In addition to support groups, Unique Peerspectives offers skills-based classes. Offerings of both skills-based classes and support groups change based on the needs and desires of UP’s participants, but often include:

Support Groups:

  • General daily support group
  • Women’s support group
  • Men’s support group
  • Mindfulness with Mallorie

Skills-Based Classes:

  • Resume development
  • Computer skills
  • Art
  • Yoga
